A keystone of my practice is using mindfulness practices with clients to bring greater awareness
to both their inner and outer experiences. Mindfulness is the practice of quieting the mind, focussing on the breath and body, and turning your awareness inside to observe your thoughts. This practice effectively reduces stress, anxiety, depression and anger. Over time, clients find they can easily turn to mindfulness and meditation practices to sustain them between sessions and beyond the therapeutic relationship.

Hypnotherapy can be an efficient and effective way to allow for profound healing and transformation. Through hypnotic trance a client is brought into a state of deep relaxation, where the subconscious mind can be accessed for its innate wisdom. I practice hypnotherapy in the methodology of Depth Hypnosis, as developed by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the words or get them out, when working with emotional material in therapy. Creative tools give a client the opportunity to express themselves in ways they many not know how to with words. Through color and shape, image and allegory, hidden meanings begin to emerge which allow the therapy to deepen and clients to understand their inner world more and more.
